Hello Everyone,
Although the Pica-Pod already equipped with the mini tripod, but we just wanted to emphasize again that it is also compatible with the professional grade full sized tripod.
Please feel free to check out our Facebook page and we have uploaded several images to show how it works with a full sized tripod.

We're getting a lot of questions about mounting a tablet on our Pica-pod and wanted to show how easy it is. In this video we're using a Nikon D5500 and the Nikon Imaging app. installed on the iPad.
A benefit of using Pica-pod in this example is that you can also add several devices at the same time. Here we've added a picatinny AR handle so its easy to pick up and move your rig around. It's military grade so you know its strong enough.
On the other rail we've added a power bank. For remote shooting you can stay active much longer. The WiFi tethering will chew up power really fast! The is a dual USB power bank so with the correct DSLR cable, you can also power the camera and tablet at the same time.
We suggest to use the round clamp and ball head that we provide as this allows greater flexibility to adjust the tablet clamp angle later.

Improving user experience

We're just coming out the Chinese New Year here, most factories are still closed. So we've been using this time to continue to improve the User Experience of our Pica-pod.
We added some functionality to the round clamp that allows the multi purpose mount to attach without tools. Simply screw it on. When it gets tight, it will be able to snap into landscape and portrait modes easily using spring loaded detents.
Other parts can still attach as normal (ball heads, cameras etc..)
